I’m a carolina-raised, nyc-based film photographer.
My first love in photography was making photos of the people and places I loved (see above!) – I love to think that that desire has stayed the same, and the scope of what I get to love has grown.
In other words, I’m thrilled about (amongst many things) picture-making, photography as a document of time, the warmth + imperfection of film as a tribute to an unfiltered joy but also the tenderness of everyday life: the light of an ordinary day, a simple conversation, an hour passed in the presence of someone you love.
My work has taken me from laundry lines of china to southern france and back to the mountains of my beloved home state of NC. I’d be delighted to hear from you + yours, wherever you are + wherever you come from.
